Genre: Romance

I don’t want to read novels of moans, and sighs, and want. Empty prose flip before my eyes, fingernails tearing through doggie-eared memories of shaking legs and coffee soaked pages. I’ve lived these stories over and over, rolled and strangled in cotton sheets for years. I’ve let hungry people rip the words out of my mouth and through my spine in hopes of unraveling something new. Behind each torn page is their cheap and vile dialogue that sticks to the back of my throat like their greasy fingerprints seep through to my binding. So, no, I don’t want the smut. I’ve had my fill of blank spaces occupied with lust.

But if you happen upon a book, with a story like mine, rewritten for a happily ever after… And you also happen to be a kinder reader with a gentler touch. Please pick me up and tenderly thumb through the worn pages of love that could be. I’ve been waiting for a new ending.
